These novels and movies are required summer
assignments for all rising 9th, 10th, 11th,
and 12th grade students who will be enrolled at North Atlanta for the 2008-2009
school year. Students will be tested on these readings within the first two
weeks of school.
Students who did not
attend North Atlanta during the 2007-2008 will still be held accountable for the summer
reading assignments. However, they will be given time to read the
books, and they will be tested before mid-semester.

comic strip/storyboard of the events in both of the novels you read. Each comic strip should include at least 12
boxes with dialogue and pictures. Two storyboards/ comic strips are required--one
for each book.
