Announcements – Monday - PM 9/14/09

Fall sports (except football) don’t forget to bring your uniforms for the team pictures tomorrow and Wednesday. Don’t be left out of the picture because you forgot.

Sports physicals available in the gym on Thursday, September 17th at 4:30 pm. The cost is $25.

Attention students the following colleges will be visiting N. Atlanta this week.
 Tuesday – Colgate, Vassar, Brown, Skidmore, Notre Dame, Barnard, and Harvard
 Wed. – Wellesley, Holy Cross, American University, Swarthmore, Haverford
Thursday – College of Wooster, Dartmouth, Purdue, Boston College, University          of Chicago and Salem College
 Friday – DePauw, Bradley and Davidson
Please stop by the college zone to sign up. Sheets are located on the table outside the room.

Students and Parents – Bonjour. You are invited to attend the information meeting regarding the 2010 spring trip to France for the French language students on September 16th at 6 pm in the theater. Bon Voyage!

The Student Government Association will hold its first official meeting for the year. All officers, homeroom representatives and grade level reps are required to attend. Meeting is in Room 188 and begins at 3:30 pm. Please be on time.

The earth club will meet today in room 358. Teachers – we are in the process of placing recycle boxes in your rooms. Currently, we only recycle paper so please tell your students no trash or plastic in the boxes.

MACC meeting is Tuesday, September 15th at 3:30 in the media center. The upcoming community service project and the fundraising project will be discussed. All are welcome

Southern Storm – Boys volleyball is now available. Practice Thursdays and Sundays at the athletic club. Interested call coach Teague at 404-229-9898

Only 100 students will be permitted to attend the PROBE college fair on Friday, September 18th. Permission slips will be available tomorrow morning before class in Ms. Lee’s office – Room 157. The first 50 juniors and the first 50 seniors to return the signed forms will get to go to the fair.

If you are interested in a Medical Explorer Program with the Morehouse School of Medicine or a Business Explorer Program with AT&T, please see Ms. Lee in room 157 ASAP.
