The Eric Holzworth Memorial Scholarship

In Memorium of Eric Holzworth, the Eric Holzworth Memorial Foundation would like to extend two $2,500 athletic scholarships to North Atlanta graduates – one to a male athlete and one to a female athlete.  Applicants must:

  • Be a high school senior who will matriculate full-time to an accredited four-year college or university starting at the beginning of the fall semester or quarter after graduating from NAHS.
  • Have signed with said four-year college OR provide documentation stating Preferred Walk-On (PWO) status.
  • Have a 3.0 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • Demonstrate volunteer service during his/her high school career.

Please submit documentation supporting the requirements and the application by May 9th of your senior year.

The Achieve Atlanta Scholarship is available for eligible students. Award amounts range from $1,500 for enrollment in two-year community college or technical degree programs to up to $5,000 for four-year degree programs. This is not a scholarship contest; if you meet the eligibility criteria, you’re guaranteed the scholarship. You must: 

  • Graduate from an APS high school
  • Have been enrolled in an APS high school since at least the start of 11th grade
  • Graduate with at least a cumulative weighted GPA of 75
  • Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
  • Demonstrate a financial need through the Estimated Family Contribution on the FAFSA
